Fi911 COO and Co-Founder Monica Eaton-Cardone has been shortlisted for the 2022 Women in IT Award in the “Outstanding Contribution of the Year” category!
The Bonhill Women in IT Awards’ Outstanding Contribution Category recognizes achievements over a long period which have made significant contributions to the general standing of the technology industry. Judges will be looking at nominees’ projects and how they have impacted women and young girls aspiring to enter the tech space.
Monica’s work with LIFT: Elevating Women in Fintech has grabbed a lot of attention in the past year. It’s easy to see why.
“While there are many factors in achieving greater inclusion for women in fintech, it’s imperative that women at the top hold the door open for others to follow,” says Monica. “Mentorship for aspiring leaders can improve their confidence, help them build a strong network, and encourage self-advocacy, all of which are key tools for advancement.”
“I am extremely humbled to be considered for nomination, and honored to be included amongst such vaunted companies,” Monica says regarding the nomination. “Advancing women’s careers in tech has been a lifelong pursuit of mine, and I am so grateful to see so many share that passion. Congratulations and best wishes to all the nominees in every category!”
With over 230 nominations across 21 categories over the past twelve months. Winners will be revealed at the WIT Awards’ first in-person ceremony since 2019 on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Pier 60 in New York.
